I had been planning this litter for quite some time, but only this year everything finally fell into place. I am truly excited that it all worked out.
On 23 November, three puppies were born. Although the litter is small, this is actually much easier for Bistra as a first-time mother — and for us as well. Bistra has already shown herself to be a calm and patient mom. She stays close to her puppies and lets them nurse as much as they need. During the first week, all three have more than doubled their birth weights, including the smallest male, who is now thriving and quickly catching up with his siblings.
We are eager to watch their characters develop. We will make sure they are well socialised and prepared with a solid foundation before they go to their new families.
